Location: Dedham
Infant / Toddler Teacher (Early Childhood Education)
Location: The Learning Experience - Dedham, MA
Pay: $22-$23 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
About The Learning ExperienceAt The Learning Experience, our Infant and Toddler classrooms provide a nurturing environment where young children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Through responsive caregiving, engaging activities, and meaningful interactions, our teachers help build the foundation for lifelong learning and development.
Key Responsibilities- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for infants and toddlers
- Implement age‑appropriate activities that support cognitive, social‑emotional, language, and physical development
- Build strong relationships with children through responsive caregiving and positive interactions
- Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, napping, and transitions
- Observe and document children's developmental progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and developmentally appropriate classroom
- Communicate regularly with families regarding milestones, routines, and daily activities
- Partner with fellow teachers to ensure classroom consistency and quality
- Follow all Massachusetts EEC licensing and health and safety requirements
- EEC Infant/Toddler Teacher Certification required
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers preferred
- CDA, Associate's Degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for nurturing and educating young children
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC and background check requirements
