Job Title

Educator for Young Children

Within the 24-bed communal nursery located in the triangle of Reims–Épernay–Châlons, the educator for young children contributes to the communal educational project by providing quality care and comprehensive support to young children and their families.

Responsibilities include:

• Welcome the child and their family
• Support and assist teams in welcoming the child and their family
• Participate in the development of the pedagogical project and ensure its implementation
• Collaborate in the development and implementation of projects
• Accompany the three sections of children
• Facilitate the child's development by providing varied and appropriate materials and games
• Promote the child's autonomy throughout their stay at the nursery
• Ensure the animation and implementation of educational activities
• Link with external partners
• In the absence of a director, ensure continuity of direction

Specific conditions:

• Variable hours according to service needs and the obligation of continuity of direction during the establishment's opening hours between 07:30 and 18:30.
• Respect for professional secrecy and obligations of discretion and confidentiality.

Profile:

• Obligatory Diploma of Educator for Young Children – PSC1 or emergency first aid training in a childcare facility
• Ability to work in a team / Force of proposal

Art. L332-8 disposition 2 of the general code of the public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position for the needs of the services or by the nature of the functions when no candidacy of a civil servant has succeeded. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
