Piano Teaching Position

Under the authority of the music school director, you will be responsible for teaching piano. Following the retirement of the previous teacher, the position is available starting October 1st.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching specialized artistic practices based on artistic and pedagogical expertise.
• Communicating artistic techniques (body, instrument) within the framework of individual or group pedagogy, transmitting know-how.
• Applying progression and teaching methods in line with pedagogical programs in relation to the establishment's project.
• Adjusting pedagogical methods and modalities according to students.
• Accompanying students in the discovery and appropriation of means specific to the development of their practice.
• Developing artistic curiosity and engagement, transmitting the widest possible repertoires by integrating one's activity into a collective project of establishment and teaching.
• Designing and planning the implementation of innovative and interdisciplinary pedagogical projects (meetings, artistic mediation, exhibitions, diffusion and creation actions, etc.).
• Accompanying constituted groups in their projects and practice.
• Confronting oneself with different artistic productions in one's discipline and identifying and applying new techniques and new practices.
• Evaluating and perfecting one's artistic and pedagogical practice.
• Participating artistically in the project of the establishment.
• Working, sharing, and exchanging with the team on the activity, the project of the establishment.

Bachelor's degree (Bac +
5) and higher. Certificates of aptitude for various artistic professions (music, dance, dramatic art, etc.), certificate of aptitude for the functions of conservatory teachers.

Assistant for Artistic Teaching, Assistant for Artistic Teaching Principal of 1st Class, Assistant for Artistic Teaching Principal of 2nd Class.

Art. L332-8 provision 5 of the general code of the public service - A contractual employee may be recruited for this position because it is a part-time position with a work time quota less than 50%. The proposed contract may not exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum duration of six years.
