Ruthven/Ayrshire Community School District is seeking a dedicated and student‑focused elementary classroom teacher to join our team for the 2025–2026 school year. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about creating a positive learning environment and committed to supporting the academic and social‑emotional growth of all students.

• Full‑time Elementary Classroom Teacher (Grade level to be determined)

  Ruthven/Ayrshire Elementary School, Ruthven, Iowa
• Start Date:
  
  August 2026

• Valid Iowa teaching license with Elementary Education endorsement (K‑6)
• Strong knowledge of elementary curriculum and instructional strategies
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to collaboration with staff, students, and families

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards‑aligned lessons
• Assess and monitor student progress using data‑driven practices
• Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
• Participate in professional development and school improvement initiatives

• Experience with standards‑based grading and assessment
• Knowledge of PBIS or similar behavior frameworks
• Integration of technology into instruction
