Position: Student Success Coordinator, 1.0 FTE
Location: Nevada

Student Success Coordinator (Grades 6–12)

The Student Success Coordinator supports secondary students (grades 6–12) identified through the district's Multi‑Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework. The coordinator works collaboratively with students, families, teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote academic achievement, attendance, engagement, positive behavior, and on‑time graduation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track student academic progress, attendance, behavior, engagement, and credit completion.
  • Identify students in need of additional support through MTSS and other district intervention processes.
  • Provide individualized student check‑ins, mentoring, and goal‑setting support.
  • Coordinate and facilitate interventions designed to improve student success and graduation outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and support staff to develop and implement student support plans.
  • Participate in MTSS and student intervention team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor intervention effectiveness.
  • Communicate with families regarding student progress and available support.
  • Assist students in accessing academic, behavioral, social‑emotional, and community resources as appropriate.
  • Support students enrolled in the Area Learning Center (ALC) to ensure progress toward credit completion and graduation requirements.
Program Focus:

Priority for services will be given to American Indian students and other students identified as needing additional academic, attendance, behavioral, or engagement support. Intervention planning and coordination will occur during the school day through established MTSS and student support team processes.
