The Aplington-Parkersburg Middle School (grades 3rd‑8th) is located in Aplington, 30 minutes from the Cedar Valley. We are seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and student‑centered 7th & 8th Grade Math Teacher for the school year.
The school serves 180 students.
Position SummaryThe teacher will teach three 7th‑grade math sections and three 8th‑grade math sections, as well as an advisory period and study hall supervision.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver instruction for 7th and 8th grade math.
- Design assessments and analyze student progress.
- Collaborate with team members to support student learning.
- Provide advisory support and supervise study hall.
- Current State of Iowa Teaching License.
- One of the following endorsements: 5‑8 Middle School Math (#1822), K‑8 Math (#142), 5‑12 Math (#143), or 5‑8 Middle School Generalist (#182).
Resume, letter of interest, three letters of recommendation, and a copy of the teaching certificate.
