Part - Time Instructor, Aviation - FY 2027 Job Description Responsibilities of a part time Aviation Instructor include but are not limited to:

• Lecture and Lab instruction for Aviation Courses
• Develop Lesson Plans, and course materials in conjunction with Lead Faculty
• Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
• Provide advisement to students
• Some program and or curriculum development may be requested
• Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested

• FAA issued Certificated Flight (II) Instructor,
  OR FAA issued Commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating and Advanced Ground Instructor Certificate, and Instrument Ground Instructor.
  OR
  , Aviation Industry Professionals with extensive experience or Aerodynamics, or Advanced Aircraft Systems, or Crew Resource Management, or Airport Management, or Airline Operations, or Cabin Service.

• Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Management, Aerospace Science, Aeronautical Administration, or related field.
• Knowledge in Canvas or other Learning Management Systems

Aviation courses are taught at the CSN Henderson Campus A Building, they are typically in-person and can be scheduled during the day, or evenings.

$925.00 per lecture credit hour. Credits will vary by semester.
