English Valleys Elementary is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic 4PK teacher to join our team due to increased enrollment. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to providing an engaging and inclusive learning environment for our students.

About English Valleys Elementary: English Valleys is a small and tight-knit community based out of North English, Iowa, just a short drive away from Iowa City and Interstate 80. Our school is committed to providing our students with a quality education that is aligned with the latest standards and practices. With small class sizes and modern facilities, we strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.

A 4PK Teacher creates and delivers engaging lesson plans, assesses student progress, and fosters a positive learning environment. They work with students in grades 4PK to develop academic and social skills, preparing them for future learning.

• Curriculum Delivery: Develop and implement lesson plans, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and track progress through various assessments.
• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and safe learning environment, fostering respect and cooperation among students.
• Communication: Maintain open communication with parents, guardians, and other staff to support student learning and address any challenges.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and meetings to enhance professional competence and stay updated on best practices in education.
• Administrative Duties: Prepare reports, manage classroom resources, and assist with school-wide activities and events.

• Teaching certification in Iowa
