Qualifications
:
High School diploma or equivalent; experience in working with young students in a supporting role; ability to relate positively to students, staff, and parents; ability to follow written and verbal instructions from the supervisor or administrator

Day Care Supervisor & Principal (Director of the Day Care)

Performance Responsibilities
:

• Assists in student monitoring and in general supervision of students
• Serves as an advocate for the student(s) while encouraging the students' best efforts in learning activities
• Serves to monitor the unique physical and mental health needs of students and to report changes to the supervisor and/or principal
• Develops and maintains a positive rapport with students and parents
• Adheres to district policies and procedures in all aspects of supporting student success
• Assists in the maintenance of accurate student records, including attendance, payment of fees, and health records
• Meets with students individually to provide one-on-one attention
• Maintains strict confidentiality in student or administrative matters
• Assists the supervisor and principal in the development of new programs or procedures to improve student success, as requested
• Assists in maintaining a healthy, clean, and orderly environment in the Day Care center
• Reports to the supervisor and/or the principal any unusual circumstances which may lead to problems with student attitude, or attendance
• Models adult behavior with the highest standards for ethical, moral, and legal behavior
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or principal

Elzora Town Daycare is looking for dependable, loving, patient and creative people to join our staff immediately. We are hiring part time day and evening shifts due to increased enrollment.

A DCI background check and an FBI fingerprint check is required.
