The Sigourney Community School District is seeking a full time Elementary teacher for 50% Special Education and 50% Title 1 Reading for the school year.
We are seeking a motivated, passionate, and student focused leader with a strong teaching background for our elementary PK-6 education program.
Must demonstrate effective classroom management skills through building positive and strong relationships with students and families. The candidate must be able to differentiate instruction and assessment to meet the needs of all learners.
Salary is based on experience and education. Competitive Benefit Package Includes:

Applicants must be certified in the State of Iowa or able to obtain licensure by the position start date, with the following endorsements:
- K-8 Instructional Strategist I:
Mild/Moderate - 260 - K-12 Instructional Strategist II: BD/LD - 263
- K-8 Reading - 148
