DescriptionDeliver route‑based pest control services to customers by inspecting properties, identifying pest problems, applying professional products, and designing effective control strategies. Ensure operational excellence through timely service, clear communication, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.
Key Contributions- Execute assigned service routes and complete scheduled services.
- Inspect properties, identify pest activity, and apply appropriate treatment methods.
- Communicate with operations and customers to explain services, assess needs, and provide follow‑up.
- Apply products safely and in compliance with labels, PPE requirements, and company standards.
- Monitor treatment effectiveness and communicate results to customers and management.
- Complete accurate, timely service documentation and system updates.
- Maintain assigned vehicle, equipment, and tools in safe, clean, working condition.
- Participate in required training and comply with driving, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Support additional operational projects as assigned.
- Complete 98% of scheduled service stops, as assigned.
- Maintain 90% accuracy in service documentation and application compliance.
- Achieve 70% positive customer satisfaction scores on post‑service surveys.
- Submit or sell a minimum of 8 qualified technician leads per month.
- Respond to 95% of service delivery issues or escalations within 24 hours with zero repeat issues.
- Maintain zero preventable safety or driving incidents.
- Accelerates revenue capture by reducing the cost of open territories and call center gaps.
- Protects compliance through accurate background checks and adherence to hiring and safety standards.
- Drives scalability by building repeatable, efficient service processes for high‑volume frontline roles.
- Strengthens culture and retention by ensuring service quality and responsiveness that reinforce trust in CERTUS leadership and systems.
- Collaboration and communication:
Effectively partner with customers, team members, and managers to meet client expectations and resolve issues. - Problem‑solving and judgment:
Employ sound pest control strategies, troubleshoot infestations, and make decisions to maintain a pest‑free environment. - Leadership behaviors and cultural alignment:
Demonstrate reliability, safety awareness, and responsiveness in all service activities.
- High School diploma or equivalent with 5 years of proven driving experience.
- Successful completion of 30‑day initial training (classroom and field) and earning minimum of two CEUs annually.
- Ability to pass a seven‑year criminal background check, substance abuse testing, and three‑year motor vehicle report.
- General household pest/rodent control license/certification based on regulatory requirements.
- Experience in pest control, wildlife management, or related field.
- Experience working in high‑growth, or field‑based environments.
