Controls Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their dedicated team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent teamwork, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: West Branch, IA

Pay Range: $35/h + benefits

• Analyze plant processes to identify opportunities for improvements and efficiencies.
• Design and implement electrical control systems to optimize manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot hardware and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
• Plan and execute preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to detect problems and develop effective solutions, upholding quality and safety standards.

• Experience in electrical engineering or related field, with 2+ years of experience
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware and process issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Knowledge of plant processes and preventative maintenance strategies.
• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
