Position: Drafter with SolidWorks Experience
Location: Algona

ON SITE ONLY, NO REMOTE WORK AVAILBLE

Join a dynamic and collaborative engineering team as a Mechanical Drafter specializing in Solid Works. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting a variety of engineering and manufacturing projects by creating precise technical drawings and 3D models. Responsibilities
  • Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models using Solid Works to support engineering and manufacturing projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure drafting assignments are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office 365 applications to organize, track, and communicate project information effectively.
  • Incorporate feedback and design changes by reviewing and revising drawings as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Solid Works for mechanical drafting and 3D modeling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Solid Works CAD and Simulation; CAD certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with metal fabrication processes, structural engineering, welding, and material applications.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes, including hydraulics.

Compensation

$20.00- $31.00, Start pay range depends on skillset and experience.
