Job DescriptionIn the context of the development of our elevator business, we are looking for a Technical Study Technician to take charge of the technical adaptation of our ELIFT elevator to the specific needs of each site.
Each case is different: available dimensions, number of levels, access positions, building integration, finishes, and particular client constraints.
Your Role
Within our mechanical study office, you transform commercial information and site surveys into a complete technical file, usable by the production, procurement, and assembly teams.
The position is mainly focused on design, technical follow-up of cases, and configuration of an existing product. Specific studies may be necessary when the project goes beyond the usual scope.
Your Main Missions
- Create the implementation, configuration, and reservation plans.
- Adapt the ELIFT elevator to each case: dimensions, levels, accesses, equipment, and finishes.
- Update the plans following site surveys, client exchanges, or project developments.
- Create and verify the necessary manufacturing inventories.
- Compile the technical files and ensure the launch into production.
- Identify the procurement needs related to the cases and contribute to the follow-up of orders.
- Ensure the update, classification, and archiving of technical documents.
- Exchange with commercial teams, procurement, manufacturing, assembly, and after-sales service.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of products, plans, and work methods.
Profile Sought
You have a technical or industrial training in the field of mechanics or product design: BTS, BUT, professional license, or equivalent training.
First experience in Technical Study, methods, or industrial case follow-up is desirable.
Knowledge of the elevator world, its components, its technical vocabulary, and applicable standards is a real asset.
Experience in a close environment—metallurgy, sheet metal, boilermaking, special machinery, or configurable products—will also be appreciated.
Expected skills:
- Good mastery of industrial drawing and reading plans.
- Ability to quickly understand the logic of a configurable product.
- Knowledge of mechanics and manufacturing processes.
- Mastery of a CAD software, ideally Solid Works or Top Solid.
- Good use of Excel and office tools.
- Rigorousness in the management of inventories and technical documents.
- Knowledge of Excel macros or VBA is appreciated.
