F-22 Avionics Technician – Mod Tech C

Location:

Nellis AFB, NV.

Overview:
Perform maintenance, repair, and upgrades on F-22 aircraft systems and structures using technical orders, publications, blueprints and drawings. Work on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and engine systems.

• Assist with disassembly of system components to support failure correction or implementation of changes.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate faults and repair components.
• Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components.
• Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to specifications.
• Assist with safe handling of aircraft (jacking, towing, system operations) under supervision.

• 1+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• 1+ years of experience with avionics installation.
• Knowledge of aircraft unique tools (test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet-metal brakes and shears).
• Willingness to work variable shifts.

• Experience repairing/servicing military fighter aircraft (F-15, F-16, F-18, A-10, F-22, F-35).
• 1+ years of 5th generation aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting aircraft avionics systems.
• Experience drilling, cutting, and fabricating aircraft structural components.

• Shift: Starts on Shift 1 for training; may change based on program needs.
• Security Clearance: active U.S. Secret clearance required.
• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen, National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
• Salary range: $73,100 – $98,900 (general guideline).
