WHAT WE WILL EXPECT FROM YOU Requirements- Lead fermentation strategies for the biorefinery.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement to improve process control, quality yields, and reduce defects.
- Develop and use key measures that drive performance for each unit operation.
- Develop process improvement plans based on data and communicate information throughout the organization.
- Be part of the team that drives safety improvement and participate in the development of safety programs.
- Participate in equipment specification and procurement for the biorefinery and provide technical expertise.
- May be asked to facilitate investigations using techniques such a RCFA, FMCA, 5 why.
- Provide technical support during unplanned events and planned outages.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Minimum 3 years of process engineering experience in an industrial setting
- Must wear and maintain company required Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to: FR pants/ long-sleeve shirt, safety glasses, hard hat, safety-toe boots, hearing protection, and gloves
- Physically able to perform the following job essential functions, inclusive of but not limited to: crouching, kneeling, bending, walking long distances, lifting/pushing/pulling/carrying up to 50 pounds, work at heights, continuous work in confined spaces, ascend/ descend/ work from: stairs/ladders/scaffolding.
- Must have the ability to work continuously in an environment inclusive of but not limited to: dust, loud noise(s), walk on uneven or slippery surfaces, outdoors, heat/cold, poorly illuminated areas.
- Contribute as a team member to develop the process for the biorefinery.
- Help support and develop Process Flow Diagrams and P&’s for the facility.
- Develop and participate in PSM programs and general safety programs.
- While in development, participate in engineering, procurement, and construction for the biorefinery.
- Participate in process PHA and PSM audits and own action items.
- Participate in planning and execution of plant commissioning activities.
- Participate in the development of the standard operating conditions of the facility and consequence of deviation.
- Understand and help develop material and energy balance.
- Management of site process engineering resources.
