Technical R&D Position

As a Technical R&D Specialist, you will lead the design, development, and validation of new innovative products, especially advanced materials for packaging and sustainable applications from the idea to their industrial and commercial application.

How will you do it?

• Develop formulations and processes for new polymers and materials.
• Technically validate in pilot plant and collaborate closely with production.
• Have direct contact with clients and attend international fairs, congresses, and technical visits.
• Work in synergy with Production, Sales, Quality, Logistics, and Purchasing.
• Use laboratories with state-of-the-art technology equipment, supported by highly qualified staff.

Having at least 3 years of experience as an R&D technician in continuous process plants in the chemical sector, especially in the development of polymeric materials, will give you the necessary foundation to develop and succeed in your functions. In addition, having a technical education, such as a Doctorate in Chemistry, chemical engineering, or similar, will allow you to understand the position and thus be able to apply your knowledge to analyze and solve problems, as well as develop improvements in our products.

It will be necessary for daily work to have knowledge of English (minimum B2 level), as well as availability to travel. The ability to work in a team and be a creative person, with technical intelligence and applied vision, as well as analytical capacity and structured thinking, will be key skills to develop in your day to day. Decision-making, autonomy, and results orientation will also be valued.
