Substation Design Engineer - ONSITE

Job Description

Our end client is in need of 3 Senior Substation Design Engineer for a 6+ Month CONTRACT opportunity in their Las Vegas, NV location. These positions require the ability to work onsite 40 hours per week in the FIRST shift. Positions pay a RANGE of $/hr W2 and include benefits package. NO C2C, NO 1099, NO EXCEPTIONS.

• Providing comprehensive engineering design services for substation facilities, and ensuring the facilities are constructed on schedule and within committed resource allocations.
• Leading functional teams and providing technical oversight in performing all phases of projects.
• Assisting with internal training for engineers and technicians.
• Working closely with managers and principal engineers on higher-level projects.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school in electrical engineering and 8 years of industry experience as a practicing engineer, and must be a licensed PE. If no PE license, must have 10+ years as a practicing engineer REQUIRED

• Demonstrated experience in substation/control engineering principals and knowledge of other phases of engineering REQUIRED

• Demonstrated experience in areas of cost control, budgets, finance, and accounting with technical experiences in cost analysis REQUIRED

Estimated Min Rate: $29.75

Estimated Max Rate: $42.50
