Configuration Analyst III

Overview

• Oversee and manage the configuration of highly complex engineering and manufacturing products through a PLM system
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Product Data, including Parts and Bills of Materials (BoMs)
• Perform comprehensive audits and verification of product configurations to ensure compliance with the highest customer requirements, company and industry standards
• Lead the preparation and documentation required for product structure and configuration management
• Direct the configuration change management process, including evaluating, implementing, and tracking complex changes
• Collaborate with executive management, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and resolve critical configuration issues
• Maintain and manage comprehensive records and documentation related to configuration management activities
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance configuration management practices

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in configuration management or a related field within the aerospace and defense industry
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
• Expert proficiency with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and configuration management principles
• Strong attention to detail and superior documentation skills
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
• Understanding of Documentation Control Database systems

Demonstrates expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and configuration management principles, ensuring accuracy and compliance in product data and documentation. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement process improvements in the aerospace and defense industry.
