Civil Design Project Manager in Pleasantville

Savin Engineers is seeking an experienced and motivated Civil/Environmental Design Project Manager to lead and oversee civil and environmental engineering projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and environmental design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

• Collaborate with the project team in supervising design with a timely response to the submittal schedule.
• Develop and oversee all engineering drawings and specifications.
• Attend project meetings with client organizations.
• Communicate with clients regarding technical aspects of project requirements.
• Assist with site inspections for design.
• Create, execute, and revise project work plans as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed.

• BS in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• Professional Engineer (NYS )
• 10+ years of design and project management experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of NYS Building Codes and Ten States Standards
