Maintenance Manager

Location: Sumner

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the effective initiating and directing of plant wide projects to improve machine up-time, efficiencies, and overall production, including new design and engineering solutions. Directs employees to complete daily tasks to maintain and improve the overall environment of the plant, inside and outside. Manages all maintenance, repair and overhaul for the facility and its’ machines, and equipment, including ordering and procuring necessary materials.

Supports safety initiatives and production. Initiate, implement, direct, and schedule machine preventive maintenance program.

Managerial Functions Prioritizes and delegates work to maintenance and facilities team Clearly communicates expectations and holds subordinates accountable for performance

Demonstrates responsibility for budget and effective utilization of resources - plans and manages resources to maximize results ENGINEERING AND ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS Develops, plans, performs, and coordinates a variety of engineering and administrative assignments to ensure company compliance with federal, state and municipal regulations

Oversee maintenance, repair, installation, and/or design of equipment

Suggests and directs engineering solutions or projects to improve safety, production, the facility environment, and culture.

Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Incumbent will follow other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties from time to time if requested by Plant Manager QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in Engineering or closely related field

Will accept relatable experience or internships in-lieu of completed degree

Self-starter and highly motivated

Strong problem-solving skills

Mechanical aptitude

Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel, and Power Point Knowledge  of 5S and Lean principles a must
