Mechanical Engineer

• Responsible for the design, development, verification of assigned mechanical components
• Maintain working knowledge of mechanical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Recommend proper procedures, processes, templates, and tools to perform tasks
• Provide technical assistance for the building and testing of new products and systems
• Review mechanical drawings and designs for adherence to specifications
• Perform detailed mechanical or fluid calculations as required
• Write mechanical performance requirements for product development

• Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person")
• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or related field required or at least 10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience in lieu of a degree
• 3+ years of mechanical component design or manufacturing experience preferred
• 3+ years of CAD software related work preferred
• Extensive knowledge of computer equipment (PC, firewall, switch, data acquisition systems, UPS, server rack equipment, etc.) preferred
• Basic knowledge of harsh mechanical environments preferred

Demonstrates expertise in Mechanical Component Design and Development, utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD and Inventor. Capable of performing detailed mechanical calculations and ensuring adherence to specifications in mechanical drawings.
