Constellation Energy seeks a Fire Marshal to lead fire and life safety programs across power generation and energy facilities. In this role, you will develop and enforce fire codes, conduct inspections of plants and operations, and oversee testing of alarms, suppression systems, and emergency equipment. You will lead fire risk assessments, investigate incidents, and coordinate with operations, maintenance, and EHS teams to correct hazards.

The Fire Marshal will design emergency response plans, deliver training and drills, and serve as liaison with local fire and regulatory authorities to ensure full compliance and strong preparedness.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce fire and life safety policies and procedures across energy facilities
  • Conduct regular fire safety inspections, audits, and code compliance reviews of plants and operations
  • Oversee testing, maintenance, and certification of fire alarms, suppression systems, and emergency equipment
  • Perform fire risk assessments and recommend engineering and administrative controls to reduce hazards
  • Investigate fire incidents and near misses, document findings, and drive corrective and preventive actions
  • Design, deliver, and coordinate fire safety and emergency response training and drills for employees and contractors
  • Lead development and maintenance of emergency response and evacuation plans for sites and offices
  • Serve as primary liaison with local fire departments, insurance representatives, and regulatory authorities
  • Interpret and apply NFPA, OSHA, and local fire codes and regulations to company operations
  • Prepare reports, metrics, and recommendations for leadership on fire safety performance and improvements
