Construction Sales Estimator

Energy Panel Structures Inc. is seeking a Construction Sales Estimator to develop accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates for SIP-based building projects. In this role, you'll review plans and specifications, prepare detailed quotes, and support EPS dealers, builders, and sales reps across residential, agricultural, and commercial applications. You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to optimize designs, value-engineer solutions, and meet energy-efficiency goals.

This position requires strong construction math skills, attention to detail, and clear communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and structural plans to develop detailed SIP and building package estimates
• Prepare accurate material takeoffs, pricing, and formal quotations for dealers and builders
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to optimize designs and value-engineer projects
• Analyze labor, material, and freight costs to ensure competitive, profitable bids
• Support customers and sales reps with technical questions and revisions to quotes
• Track and update estimate assumptions, pricing, and project status in CRM/ERP tools
• Coordinate with project management to ensure smooth handoff from estimate to order
• Participate in continuous improvement of estimating tools, templates, and workflows
