We are searching for an Engineer-Level 1 on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) They need a Subject Matter Expert in motor rewinds and repairs. You don’t have to have specific OM knowledge, just motor repair knowledge as a whole. You will need to be able to provide guidance on testing and repairs. No travel required between sites.
You will be a key player in maintaining and repairing wind turbines and solar generation equipment, as well as serving as a vital storage hub for renewable energy components.

Responsibilities- You will be a key player in maintaining, repairing wind turbine, solar generation equipment, as well as serving as a vital storage hub for renewable energy components
- You will be working to start an electrical motor repair process to add to the current mechanical and electrical repairs.
- You will use your engineering experience primarily in motor repair and rewinding.
- You will help establish procedures and process related to motor repairs.
- You will work with site management and mechanical engineer to identify equipment needs to rebuild, rewind, and test electric motors.
- Education:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering required. - Experience in developing expertise in engineering standards, project coordination, and decision-making.
- Experience in the electric motor repair industry is required for this role.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $35.00/hr. to $40.00/hr.
