US Sports Trader

We are seeking a US Sports Trader to manage real‑time trading of major league and college sports markets, including games, player props, and futures betting. The role requires proactive market creation, risk management, and support for our sports trading product.

• Day‑to‑day trading of games, player props, and futures betting markets.
• Compile and trade prices across a variety of markets, reacting quickly to market moves to stay aligned with the broader market.
• Create new markets and handle settlement across all sports.
• Identify and settle markets that are not automated, ensuring timely settlement.
• Develop new markets to improve the customer experience.
• Monitor market liabilities and risk, responding promptly.
• Maintain and update the stop‑loss system so markets are fully available.
• Manage customer risk profiles and identify betting patterns through approvals and betting scrollers.
• Support product initiatives and deliver a wide range of markets for customers.
• Accept bets via approvals functionality, making quick decisions.
• Work with compliance to obtain new sport, league, and market approvals from US states.
• Collaborate with the content team to flag display issues and improve site experience.
• Provide operational support to enable seamless execution of the Sports Trading lifecycle as part of the licensed trading function.
• Assist traders with market moves and daily operations.
• Complete full‑time trading training and acquire knowledge of sports book tools, platforms, and processes.
• Resolve issues impacting the trading team on both online and retail sports books.
• Create betting sheets, configure new leagues and markets, and perform other operational tasks as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2years of experience in US sports trading.
• Strong passion for US sports and expertise in sports statistics.
• Excellent numerical and mathematical skills.
• Team player with strong focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Excellent knowledge of the rules of all sports and the betting industry.
• Mandatory sports betting experience.
• Familiarity with college and major league players.

Annual salary range: $61,000.00–$92,000.00 (geography, skills, experience, and qualifications considered). Eligible for a performance‑based bonus plan.
