Casino, Security Guard
Job Title
Observes casino or casino hotel operations for irregular activities such as cheating or theft by either employees or patrons in order to protect casino assets and assist in efforts to maintain adherence to internal controls, departmental procedures and other company policies.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions
Ability to work in a confined area. Work typically in an area, which may be usually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second-hand smoke. Must be able to safely lift up to 25 pounds. Requires frequent use of hands, arms, wrists and fingers near vision associated with use of video surveillance equipment. Requires extended periods of sitting and viewing video monitors.

Required Departmental Skills to Learn
- Surveillance Department Policies and Procedures.
- Learn the Gaming Floor and memorize cameras to competently observe the Gaming floor, food venues, Hotel, Entertainment areas, parking lots, and back of house.
- Competently use our operating Surveillance Systems-Network Client and Milestone-Viewing, reviewing, retrieving/saving footage.
- Learn all and keep up with changing Casino Departments policies and procedures.
- MICS (Minimum Internal Control Standards)
- Sac and Fox Gaming Regulations
- All mandatory HR training including Title 31, Alcohol Awareness, and any other training required.
- Become efficient in all Live Games, new games added, and complete yearly refresher classes.
- Facial recognition (Remember faces and names-company issued bans & employee databases)
- Familiarize with Department programs-Diagnostic monitor, Omni-view, Quickets, Super Playmate, Pitwatch, Sur-Monitor, Red Hand database, , Windows, Excel.
- Surveillance department test (90 day test)
- Advantage Play and Basic Strategy training (additional testing as requested by Supervisor)
- Adequately Investigate/Review/Observe/Report—DSLs & DSRs (keeping Logs and writing Reports)
Minimum Job Qualifications
Knowledge/Education/Work Experiences :
Requires a High School diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
Skills/Abilities :
Must be flexible with working hours and days off, as sometimes job requires covering shifts, other than your regular schedule. Must be able to work independently without supervision. Must be proficient in basic math skills and mental computations. Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess good computer skills. Must display a level of maturity commensurate with the responsibility of the position.
Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements.

This position is PROHIBITED from playing all casino games while on or off duty, except as authorized for employee tournaments. Employees and members of the household are prohibited from entering company contests and giveaways established for our guests.
