Customer Service Rep, Casino, Event Manager / Planner
Job Title
Greets and assists all guests with a pleasant and courteous attitude.
EssentialJob Duties
- Maintains brochure racks.
- Administers the Player's Club accounts according to rules and regulations.
- Answers questions and disperses club membership information.
- Sets up new club accounts with valid photo identification.
- Assists guests in reference to their club accounts (i.e. points, comp value, coupons, etc.).
- Keeps updated and has knowledge of all promotional activities in the casino.
- Maintains and stocks club supplies as needed.
- Has knowledge of all office machines in the club.
- Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
- Safeguards and accounts for the assets of the owners.
- Complies with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Meskwaki Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
- Monitors the casino environment and follows established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
- Works respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
- Reports to work on time and as required in professional attire, displays a high level of personal cleanliness and follows personal appearance standards.
- May issue printed self comps, cash-back and point redemption vouchers, and PBT to customers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Job Duties
- Reports to work on time and as required in professional attire, displays a high level of personal cleanliness and follows personal appearance standards.
- Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
- Assists with Sales and Marketing promotional activities (i.e. issuance of tickets, gift certificates, coupons and slot tournaments).
- Helps with all promotions held at Club Meskwaki.
- Has signatory authority for complimentary – room and/or meal.
- Assumes coat check duties when needed.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
May be exposed to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke filled environment. Frequent periods of standing, sitting, reaching, and bending will be present. Frequent use of vision, hands, fingers, wrists and arms associated with computer use and data entry. Some lifting up to 25 pounds may be required. Must be confidential.
Minimum Job QualificationsKnowledge/Education/Work Experiences:
High School Diploma or GED. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
Must be able to work directly with the general public. Must be flexible with working hours and days off. Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Requires the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same. Must possess basic computer skills. Possess tact and diplomacy when assisting guest or employee questions. Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements.
PreferenceMembers of the Meskwaki Nation and other Native American Tribes who are qualified applicants are encouraged to apply and will be given preference in accordance to established procedures.
RestrictionsThis position is prohibited from playing all casino games while on duty, except as authorized for employee tournaments. Employees and members of the household are prohibited from entering company contests and giveaways established for our guests.
