Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen), the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one of which will expand Bally's jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms to the Bally's portfolio.
The Count Team Member collects casino funds during the drop process and transports them to the Count Room for counting. The role accurately and promptly counts all casino funds from slot machines, bill validators, change machines, and table games boxes.
Responsibilities:- Follow all procedures for collection, counting, and asset security at all times.
- Collect money collection cans from all assigned slot machines, bill validators, change machines, and/or table games boxes, and replace with empty cans.
- Transport assets to count room.
- Count all money collected from the gaming floor.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation timely, accurately, and legibly.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
A casino environment, exposed to bright flashing lights, noise, smoke and varied temperatures. Use of elevator and stairs. May include a boat and/or floating barge. The count room is a secured, locked room. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
