Job SummaryThe Cage Cashier is responsible for accurately and promptly handling money transfers for guests and providing outstanding guest service to internal and external guests.
Responsibilities- Ensure consistent high‑quality service to all team members and guests.
- Accountable for the assigned cashier bank during the shift and must balance at the end of the shift.
- Execute monetary transactions for guests.
- Accurately complete necessary paperwork associated with the position.
- Comply with all IRGC rules and regulations, as well as federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Assist guests with player’s club accounts.
- Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Apply customer service standards as directed.
- Complete assignable work requested by the Shift Manager satisfactorily.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, customer service, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Possess and maintain an Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Class C license.
- Professional demeanor and presence; ability to interact with guests and team members within the company.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
Casino environment exposed to bright flashing lights, noise, smoke, and varied temperatures. Use of elevators and stairs. May include working on a boat or floating barge. May also work in a banquet/showroom environment with varying noise levels and temperatures, wet areas, and exposure to low‑level lights.
