Job SummaryAssists with supervising and controlling all activities within the Soft Count / Drop Teams process.
- Assures that Slot/Bill Acceptor (BA) drop and soft count functions are completed in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with the Soft Count / Drop Team Supervisor and Manager all personnel actions within the Soft Count / Drop Team area.
- Maintains proper inventory of supplies needed to operate the Soft Count / Drop Teams functions.
- Supervise and train staff in all aspects of their job functions.
- Ensures that staff is properly trained in existing and new procedures.
- Monitor and address mutual respect and interaction between co-workers.
- Communicates all non-routine activities occurring within the Soft Count / Drop Team area to the supervisor and manager immediately.
- Communicates effectively with management, staff and other departments in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
- Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
- Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
- Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
- Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
Job Duties
- Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
- Assists in developing, documenting and implementing procedures and controls over the Soft Count / Drop Team functions.
- Will be required to sign certain forms to provide evidence that they participated in counts and machine testing.
- Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
This position will have the authority to; make decisions necessary for carrying out the above listed job duties, make recommendations, provide training opportunities, evaluate performance, create and/or delegate staff scheduling and invoke disciplinary action within approved guidelines. This position may have other supervisory authority assigned as necessary through management. This position directly supervises the Soft Count / Drop Team. This position will have authority to approve time cards within the time clock system.
Physical Requirements /Working ConditionsMay be exposed to loud and continual noise levels and a smoke filled environment. Lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds will be required. Requires significant use of arms, hands, wrists, and fingers with frequent periods of standing or sitting, reaching, grasping, kneeling and bending. Some exposure to dust and room temperature changes may be present. Requires attention to detail and alertness during an entire shift.

Knowledge/Education/Work Experiences
:
Requires a high school diploma or GED. Requires knowledge of the Meskwaki Casino Internal Controls and standard operating procedures. Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
Skills/Abilities
:
Must be able to meet deadlines and work independently with little supervision. Must be able to read, interpret and understand the Meskwaki Casino Internal Controls and standard operating procedures. Must have the ability to maintain a professional attitude toward staff and senior management. Must be flexible with working hours and days off. Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written;
effectively instruct and guide all subordinates. Must be able to meet all internal supervisory or higher, training and education requirements.

This position is PROHIBITED from playing all casino games while on duty, except as authorized for employee tournaments. Otherwise, this position may play any casino game while off duty. Employees and members of the household are prohibited from entering company contests and giveaways established for our guests.
