Summary

Serves as a key member of the Company's Accounting Team, responsible for developing complex models and high-level dashboards, tracking the company's financial performance against plan, analyzing business performance and market conditions to create forecasts/budgets, and helping management make tactical and strategic decisions by providing periodic reports.

Core Responsibilities
  • Produce and create yearly, quarterly, monthly, weekly, or daily reports including key performance metrics and financial results.
  • Assist with the preparation of the Company's periodic financial statements accurately and timely, consistent with up-to-date accounting regulatory guidance and finance leadership expectations. Monitor actuals vs budget, investigate variances and propose corrective actions.
  • Provide analytical forecasting, reporting, and project support. Analyze the data and collaborate with business partners on cross functional management initiatives.
  • Create and analyze detailed financial models to support decision-making and assist with change management initiatives.
  • Assist the Accounting Team in other areas of support such as billing, collections, or adhoc reporting requirements. Identify and drive efficiencies and controls in the processes and tools.
  • Support the budgeting, auditing and tax processes.
  • Partner with all teams to ensure financial accuracy and provide financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Four-year degree from an accredited college, university, or technical institution with coursework in Accounting/Finance, Analytics or business, or substitute 2 years' pertinent experience for each year of education.
  • Previous skill, knowledge, or experience specifically in financial analysis or accounting.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.

Other Skills & Abilities
  • PC proficiency is essential (Windows environment)
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel is essential.
  • Experience with Power BI is preferred. Ability to quickly learn is essential.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements
  • The duties of this job require the employee to effectively talk and hear English language communications.
  • The employee is required to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Reaching, grasping and carrying activities also required.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Above average intellectual ability and excellent judgment are needed to deal effectively with a wide range of problem solving and trouble shooting activities.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Although most work is performed inside, occasional outside activities are subject to seasonal temperature fluctuations.
