Accounting Manager For Mexico

The Accounting Manager for Mexico will be the strategic leader responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of the country's financial operations, overseeing the month-end financial statement close, and ensuring strict adherence to local and corporate accounting guidelines. In this key position, you will coordinate internal and external audit processes, manage complex tax requirements, and lead the implementation of global governance and internal controls.

Additionally, you will act as a strategic partner to the business by optimizing working capital and mitigating risks in the supply chain and treasury.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring proper external reporting with respect to guidelines and deadlines.
• Ensuring compliance with external laws and regulations and external and internal guidelines.
• Supporting projects impacting general accounting (mergers, acquisitions, system migrations, etc.).
• Acting as a partner in the business decision making process by assessing impacts on financial statements.
• Ensuring execution of accounting related internal controls.
• Actively reviewing and proposing changes to existing accounting processes.
