Our Financial Services sector focuses on financial services and supports banks, insurers, and asset managers in being successful in a constantly changing and fast-paced world. Your Tasks As part of the Transaction Diligence in Cologne, Munich, or Frankfurt/Main, we accompany Fin Techs, Insur Techs, start-ups, brokers, and clients in the private equity and banking sectors in the context of strategy and M&A projects as well as in the implementation of different buyer and seller advisory services.

You will take on a variety of tasks:
Buyer and seller M&A advisory services including market/company analyses in the context of strategy and management consulting projects for financial service companies as well as Fin Techs/Insur Techs/start-ups/brokers Analysis of the annual financial statements and financial ratios of a target company in the context of financial due diligence and derivation of strengths and weaknesses as well as identification of risks and purchase price relevant facts to be able to provide our clients with an action recommendation regarding a purchase/sale decision Assessment of the financial situation with regard to earnings (analysis of revenue streams, costs and profitability including value driver analyses) and assets (working capital/net cash, liquidity and hidden reserves/liabilities) Support of our clients in strategic and financial questions, in the purchase price and purchase contract negotiation as well as in the development of transaction structuring options Steady increasing leadership responsibility for small teams, as well as participation in project acquisitions and client outreach through the creation of offers Your Skillset Completed study in economics with a focus on business-related subjects such as finance, M&A, accounting, controlling, insurance and banking At least three years of professional experience in consulting or in the financial sector and/or in the strategy and transactions/corporate finance/M&A area Knowledge of accounting according to HGB as well as according to international accounting standards (and/or IFRS) desirable;
