The Anamosa State Penitentiary is looking for a Correctional Supervisor! In this position you would assist with supervision of incarcerated individuals, and overall operation of the institution during your assigned shift. You would ensure all DOC/ASP policies and procedures are followed in regard to security, safety, sanitation and maintenance within living units.

- a. One year of full-time work experience in correctional or law enforcement officer work;
- b. A combination of a total of two years of education and full-time experience (as described in number one), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university course work in penology, police science, psychology, sociology, or social work equals one year of full-time experience.
- a. Six months of full-time work as a Senior Correctional Officer;
- b. One year of full-time work as a Correctional Counselor or State Industries Technician;
- c. Two-and-a-half years of full time work as a Correctional Officer or Correctional Food Service Coordinator.
Some positions in this class may require an applicant to have the ability to pass a background investigation.
