Overview
The Division of Public and Behavioral Health:
Radiation Control has an opening for a Radiation Control Specialist 2 in Carson City and Las Vegas, NV.
- Determine compliance with State and Federal Regulations pertaining to radiation; inspect and investigate compliance involving radiation sources and radiation producing devices.
- The position is specifically responsible to license, inspect, and investigate ionizing radiation sources statewide to determine potential hazards to the public; implement radiation control regulations adopted by the Nevada State Board of Health pursuant to NRS 459 (radioactive materials/X-Ray).
