State of Nevada is seeking Safety Specialists to enforce state and federal railway safety laws. Positions may be located in Carson City or Las Vegas, performing inspections, investigations and reporting to the regulatory leadership.
Incumbents will review applications for safety compliance, interview witnesses, audit records and provide testimony as needed. This is a journey-level role in the railway discipline series with public safety duties and training opportunities.
