What would you do as a EMTAs a PRN EMT at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, you will be responsible for the delivery of quality patient care to individuals of all ages, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism. Under the guidance and supervision of the EMS Manager, you will perform a diverse range of direct and indirect patient care duties, contributing to the overall well-being and safety of each patient.
Your role will involve not only responding to emergency situations with skill and urgency but also providing invaluable support during patient assessments and treatments. This position offers the unique opportunity to engage directly with the community while honing your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, all while embodying our core values of integrity, excellence, and customer-centricity.
To excel as a PRN EMT at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics, you must possess a strong foundation in emergency medical practices, demonstrated by your graduation from an accredited EMT program. A current State of Iowa EMT Certification is essential, along with a valid Iowa Driver's License to ensure safe and effective patient transport. Additionally, holding a Basic Life Support Certification is crucial, as this qualification equips you with the skills to respond effectively in critical situations.
Successful candidates will also showcase strong communication abilities, allowing for effective collaboration with team members and fostering trust with patients.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Graduate of an accredited EMT Program
- Current State of Iowa EMT Certification
