PositionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a SCN within our Maxillofacial, Orthodontic and Restorative Dentistry Department based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
Hours35hrs per week, shift pattern depending on clinical activity. The post holder is required to participate in the site nursing page holder rota. This post is offered on a permanent basis.
From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced. Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
UK Driving LicenceFull UK driving licence would be beneficial for this role.
What You Will DoJob Purpose:
The post holder will be accountable for the overall assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of care for patients accessing Maxillofacial, Orthodontic and Restorative Dentistry.
The post holder will be a registered nurse with current NMC UK registration. They will possess extensive post registration experience, with current experience at a senior level. They will be educated to Degree level equivalent or willing to work towards. The post holder will have post registration experience in an Out-Patient and Theatre environment.
