Behavior Technician - School BT

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician (BT) with school-based experience to join a supportive educational team in the greater Puyallup, WA area. This is an excellent opportunity to further develop your behavioral therapy skills while working with students on the autism spectrum and those with other special needs. In this role, you will help students build the behavioral and social-emotional skills necessary to succeed in the classroom, at home, and in the community.

• Support students in developing positive thought patterns and constructive behaviors
• Observe and analyze student behavior to assist with identifying behavioral and emotional challenges
• Assist in the development of individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or BCBA
• Adjust behavioral support strategies as needed based on ongoing observations and progress monitoring

• High school diploma
• At least 6 months of relevant experience within the past 5 years
