Franklin General Hospital is seeking a detail‑oriented Hospital and Clinic Payment Poster to join our Business Office team. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of hospital and clinic payments.
Responsibilities- Receive and process payments, including insurance payments, and post them to the billing system and patient accounts.
- Ensure patient statements accurately reflect what is owed.
- Balance account payments daily.
- Understand Explanations of Benefits (EOBs) and accurately apply insurance payments to patient accounts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong math skills, analytical ability, and bookkeeping/accounting experience preferred.
- Ability to follow work practices and work effectively in a small office environment.
- Experience with Cerner and/or Cerner Community Works is a plus.
- Ability to stay on track with individual tasks and communicate effectively with the Business Office team.
