Job Overview

The Iowa Correctional Institution for Women is recruiting a part-time Physical Therapist
1. This position is scheduled up to 16 hours per week. Hours and days will be determined based on facility need and provider availability. This position will evaluate female incarcerated individuals for physical therapy need, create treatment plans, establish exercise programs and partner with current medical treatment team, and instruct incarcerated individuals on the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, prepare required reports and complete required documentation.

• Evaluate female incarcerated individuals for physical therapy need.

• Instruct incarcerated individuals on the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices, prepare required reports and complete required documentation.

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Iowa Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners.
