Position: Safety and Health Auditor (United States)

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Plan and conduct occupational safety and health audits across U.S. operations
  • Assess compliance with OSHA standards and related safety systems
  • Prepare clear and objective audit reports for business partners and leadership
  • Collaborate with audit program managers and safety and health SMEs to enhance audit protocols
  • Evaluate documentation and perform on-site verification to assess compliance and risks
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related safety and health discipline
  • Minimum of five (5) years of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or safety and health auditing experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulatory requirements and safety management system elements
  • Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional or global teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Share Point
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • 7+ years of safety and health or industrial hygiene experience
  • Prior auditing experience (internal, external, or third-party)
  • CSP, CIH, or other relevant safety and health certifications
  • Experience analyzing large data sets, including the use of pivot tables or similar tools
  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor or other safety and health auditing certifications
