A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced Retail Pharmacist to contribute to a well-established pharmacy setting in Clarinda, IA.
This role offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing work-life balance alongside professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications accurately in accordance with professional standards and legal regulations.
- Verify prescriptions ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements.
- Perform medication reconciliation to support seamless patient care transitions, particularly upon discharge.
- Provide expert consultation to patients about their medications, including dosage, frequency, special handling, and potential drug interactions.
- Maintain a strong commitment to excellent customer service and clinical care in every patient interaction.
Qualifications:
- Current Iowa Pharmacist License.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacist, preferably within retail settings.
- Strong knowledge of medication dispensing standards and legal requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to consult effectively with patients.
