Position: MANAGER PHYSICIANS CLINIC
Location: Clarinda

  • Employee Type FT Exempt

Clarinda Regional Health Center (CRHC) is looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Manager for our Physicians Clinic. This is an exempt position with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Additional hours may be required as necessary to meet the needs of the organization.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate from an approved school/college of nursing or related training (i.e. Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree with comparable work experience and a commitment to complete within negotiated timeframe preferred.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in rural health nursing preferred

Certificates, Licensure, Registrations

  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Iowa, or higher degree licensed in the state of Iowa (i.e. Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner)

The facility operates 24/7; however, work schedules may vary based on departmental needs to ensure the highest standard of patient care and operational efficiency. Flexibility will be expected.

  • On-call availability as needed.
  • Weekend and Holiday rotation as needed.
  • Position is classified as exempt and not eligible for overtime in accordance with labor laws.

Supervises all aspects of department operations effectively and efficiently
  • Oversees day-to-day operations, which includes problem solving issues and insuring effective processes.
  • Organizes and directs quality assurance functions in close cooperation with the customers and with Clarinda Regional Health Center’s management team.
  • Works with department director or Chief to develop and documents department procedures to insure consistent and accurate processing.
  • Works with other departments in providing services and resources.
  • Monitors workflow and departmental processes.
  • Works with department director or chief to set and achieve department goals and objectives.
Supervises clinic schedule, including review of scheduled appointments and scheduling of staff
  • Ensures provider time off.
  • Maintains instrumentation and equipment.
  • Collaborates with providers and other departments to ensure an efficient and positive experience for the patient.
