Personal Care Aide – responsibilities include assisting a male Veteran client with bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, and walking to support his independence.

Janesville, IA

Long‑term role, 9 hours per week with potential for additional hours. Schedule is flexible but must be maintained once agreed. Pay is $25 per hour, comprised of a $21 base rate plus a $4/hour bonus awarded when all scheduled shifts are completed for the pay period.

• Assist client with bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Support client during walking and mobility tasks
• Help maintain client’s independence at home

• Prior experience as a caregiver or personal care aide
• Completed background check
• Valid TB skin test or recent test results (unless recently tested)

Candidate must undergo a TB skin test if not previously tested. A recent (within 48–72 hours) TB test may be sent to a local County Health Department or a CVS Minute Clinic. Employers provide reimbursement up to $75 for the cost of the clinic test if receipt is submitted.
