Role Overview
As a Home & Community Behavior Technician, you'll deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children in natural settings, including homes, schools, and community environments. You'll work under BCBA supervision to support skill development, behavior reduction, and meaningful progress-while adapting to different settings throughout your day.
This role is ideal for individuals who value variety, independence, and building strong relationships with families and teams.
What You'll Do
* Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy sessions under BCBA supervision
* Implement treatment plans in home, school, and community settings
* Use play-based and individualized strategies to engage children
* Collect accurate session data and progress notes
* Apply feedback and coaching to strengthen clinical skills
* Collaborate with families, school staff, and clinical supervisors
* Support skill generalization across environments
* Maintain safe, professional, and organized therapy sessions

Pay Range
* Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $26.00/hour (based on education and experience)
Additional factors that may increase starting pay include:
* Prior experience working in ABA or related behavioral health settings
* Higher levels of education or relevant coursework
* Fluency in additional languages that support the families we serve
* Advanced certifications or specialized training (e.g., RBT certification)

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions
* Minimum age of 18
* High School diploma or GED required
* Ability to actively engage in child-centered play and therapeutic activities
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
* Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
* Bending, kneeling, squatting, and transitioning between activities and locations
* Responding appropriately to challenging behaviors, which may include aggression, elopement, or self-injurious behaviors
* Reliable transportation and the ability to travel consistently within your assigned service region
* Valid driver's license and punctual attendance
* Comfort working across multiple settings (home, school, community)
* No prior ABA experience required - we train you
