Burning Man Details
Location: Black Rock Desert, NV
Operational Period:August 25th through September 7th 2026
Burning Man staffing needs are highest during September 4-5 and September 6-7, 2026. Candidates who are available for one of these priority date blocks would have the opportunity to indicate their preference, with assignments made on a first come, first served basis based on staffing need.

We develop a solution and can come up with an alternative plan despite the obstacles we are challenged with.Provides basic life support, including patient assessment, airway management, use of the automatic defibrillator, and assisting patients with taking their medications.Administers medications within the EMT scope of practice as authorized by protocol.Coordinates with dispatch to respond on foot or other non-vehicular means to the appropriate location using the most expeditious route.Determines the nature and extent of illness or injury and establishes priority for required emergency care.Prioritizes decisions and acts quickly in the best interest of the patient.Remains calm while working in difficult and stressful situations, and stays focused while carrying out the functions of the position.Provides patient care in a variety of stationary (non-ambulance) and mobile (ambulance) settings within the EMT-B scope of practice.Constantly assesses the patient en route to the emergency facility, and administers additional care as indicated or directed by medical control.Reports verbally and in writing, their observation and emergency medical care of the patient at the emergency scene and in transit, to the receiving medical facility staff for purposes of records and diagnostics.Assists in lifting and carrying patients.Restocks and replaces used linens, blankets, and other…
