- Position
We are delighted to offer three new positions within our Medical Rota Administration Team supporting services across University Hospital Ayr and University Hospital Crosshouse.
Hours
36.00 hours per week.
What You Will Do
This is an excellent opportunity for motivated and organised individuals to play a key role in ensuring safe, effective and efficient medical staffing across Acute Services. You will work closely with clinicians, managers, HR and medical staff to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required For This Post
Coordinate and maintain medical staffing rotas and on-call arrangements
- Act as a key point of contact for rota queries from medical staff
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams to ensure safe staffing levels and rota compliance
- Monitor and record leave, sickness absence and study leave
- Support the booking and management of locum medical staff
- Maintain accurate records using rota systems and national reporting requirement
- Help deliver improvements in rota efficiency and workforce planning
We Are Looking For Individuals Who
- Have experience working in a busy administrative environment
- Demonstrate excellent organisation, prioritisation and communication skill
- Are confident using Microsoft Office and electronic systems
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Have the ability to problem-solve and manage competing priorities
