Pharmacy Clerk

Towncrest Pharmacy is a progressive independent community pharmacy with locations in Iowa City, Solon, Marengo and New Hampton, IA. Recognized both regionally and nationally as a leader in community pharmacy, we are known for providing advanced patient care services to patients of all ages.

We are currently seeking 1 part-time Pharmacy Clerk to join our team at the New Hampton Pharmacy location. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a professional, patient-focused team that values quality, collaboration, and community engagement.

The Pharmacy Clerk plays an important role in supporting daily pharmacy operations and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Operating the cash register and checking out customer orders
• Counting the cash drawer at the end of each day
• Cleaning and restocking shelves
• Receiving inventory orders
• Answering phones and directing customer calls to the appropriate personnel
• Assisting customers with products, questions, and general concerns

The ideal candidate is someone who has excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, works well with patients, caregivers and other healthcare professionals, and enjoys collaborating with a motivated and supportive team. Towncrest Pharmacy seeks someone who brings energy, creativity, and a positive attitude to the workplace.

On the job training is offered, no prior experience or certification is necessary. High school or equivalent is required.
